A Few Updates
If you’ve bounced around the site at all, you may have noticed a few new things.
First would be that there is now a News, Reviews & Interviews section. Under there you will find a newly added book review, and Dark Bites podcast interviews with several folks. Going forward, the podcast interviews will be scheduled for Saturdays at 10am EST as they are available.
We will be adding Micro Movie Reviews on Fridays, coming very soon.
Every Wednesday and Sunday at 10am, under the Webzine menu you will find fresh free-to-read fiction.
And of course, Dark Recesses Press Vol. 6 – Issue 14, is now live and ready to be purchased. This lovely little magazine is our resurrection issue and contains horror fiction, non-fiction, and artwork. It is available in print, as well as in digital. All print orders have the option of receiving a digital copy (in PDF, mobi, and ePub) with purchase. The digital copy comes in the afore mentioned formats for ease of reading on any device. Subscriptions of both are available at 25% off cover price. Proceeds from all sales go directly back to the authors, artists and print costs.
As always, the Shop is open and contains a decent and varied library of horror and dark fiction for you to peruse.
We’ve also updated our checkout with a new payment program to make purchases easier for you.
Submissions for the Issue 15 of the quarterly publication are due to close February 15th, 2022. Any submissions coming in after that date will be considered for the next reading period. Submissions for the webzine are open year round. We’d love to see more of those.
Please be sure to read the submission guidelines carefully. Subs that do not follow guidelines will be deleted unread. This may seem harsh, but we only have so much time and human energy available to read submissions. If you have questions, please feel free to query first at info@darkrecessespress.com.
